EU AI Act Compatibility Statement
1. Our Commitment to Trustworthy AI
EuroLaw Hub is committed to the ethical development and deployment of Artificial Intelligence. We align our operations with the EU AI Act, ensuring that our AI-enabled tools are transparent, explainable, and under human oversight. Our goal is to provide high-quality legal information while strictly protecting the fundamental rights of our users.
2. Classification of AI Systems
In accordance with the risk-based approach of the EU AI Act, the AI systems used on EuroLaw Hub are classified as follows:

Limited Risk (Transparency Obligations): Our interactive tools (e.g., legal research assistants and chatbots) and AI-generated content fall under Article 50. These require clear disclosure so users know they are interacting with or viewing AI-driven outputs.

Minimal Risk: Features such as search optimization, spam filters, and basic recommendation algorithms are considered minimal risk and are operated in line with our internal safety standards.
Note: EuroLaw Hub does not employ any "Prohibited AI Practices" (e.g., social scoring, emotion recognition in workplaces, or untargeted biometric scraping) as defined in Article 5 of the Act.
3. User Transparency & Disclosure
In compliance with Article 50, we provide the following disclosures:​

AI-Generated Content: Any long-form articles or summaries generated primarily by AI are clearly labeled with a "Generated by AI" tag.

Human-in-the-Loop: While AI assists in drafting, all core legal resources on EuroLaw Hub undergo human editorial review to ensure accuracy and professional responsibility.
4. Technical Documentation and Data Governance
We maintain rigorous internal documentation for our AI models, including:

Data Quality: We ensure training data for our legal models is representative and sourced from verified legislative and judicial databases.

Accuracy & Robustness: We regularly test our AI for "hallucinations" or technical errors to maintain the high standards required for legal information.
