- "User Content" means any information, queries, or materials you submit to or through the Platform.
3. Eligibility
The Platform is intended for use by legal professionals, organisations, and other users who require access to European Union legal intelligence. By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may be required to create a User Account. You agree to:

5. Licence to Use the Platform
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, EuroLaw Hub grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for your internal professional or business purposes. This licence does not permit you to resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Platform or its Content without our prior written consent.
6. No Legal Advice
The Platform provides legal information, intelligence, and AI-generated insights relating to European Union law. This information is provided for general informational and professional support purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
- The Platform is a research and intelligence tool intended to support, not replace, the professional judgment of qualified legal practitioners.
- No lawyer–client relationship is created between you and EuroLaw Hub through your use of the Platform.
- You remain solely responsible for any decisions, advice, or actions taken on the basis of Content obtained through the Platform.
- You should independently verify all Content against primary legal sources before relying on it.
7. AI-Generated Content
The Platform uses artificial intelligence to organise, summarise, and present information relating to EU law. While we strive for accuracy and clarity, AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, or incomplete information. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated Content is provided "as is" and may not reflect the most recent legal developments;
- you are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it; and - EuroLaw Hub does not guarantee that AI-generated Content is complete, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: - use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose; - attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its systems, or other users' accounts; - copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract data from the Platform other than as expressly permitted; - interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform; - upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful material; or - use the Platform to develop a competing product or service. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any User who violates this section.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform, including its software, design, structure, and Content (excluding User Content), are owned by or licensed to EuroLaw Hub and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you. You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written permission.
10. User Content
You retain ownership of any User Content you submit. By submitting User Content, you grant EuroLaw Hub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, process, and store such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the necessary rights to submit it.
11. Third-Party Content and Links
The Platform may reference or link to third-party sources, including official EU legal databases and external websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sources. Access to such sources is at your own risk.
12. Fees and Payment
Certain features of the Platform may require payment of fees. Where applicable, the fees, billing terms, and subscription conditions will be set out at the point of purchase or in a separate agreement. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are non-refundable.
13. Data Protection and Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We are committed to handling personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
14. Disclaimers and Warranties
The Platform and all Content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. EuroLaw Hub does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components, or that any Content will be accurate, current, or complete.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EuroLaw Hub and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to EuroLaw Hub in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EuroLaw Hub and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms.
17. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Platform or other users. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall continue to apply.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which EuroLaw Hub is established, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The courts of that jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms, save where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
